Modern Day Romeos
The spring of 2015 marked the 13 year anniversary for the Modern Day Romeos. With over a thousand shows for all these years, every weekend, MDR has remained a top drawing party band with impressive numbers in any venue or festival and entertaining many at weddings and corporate events. All six of its members have come together from different musical backgrounds to create one of the most fun, unique and high-energy shows that you can experience locally.
Hello Weekend takes audiences to a whole new level. Not only with their incomparable style and sound but also by performing today’s biggest chart topping hits and recreating them flawlessly. Be it Pitbull, Bieber, Rihanna, Gaga, the newest song out or that one song that you can’t seem to get out of your head, Hello Weekend will definitely have you singing along and wanting more. One of the newest cover bands to hit Chicago, Hello Weekend has had the opportunity to perform at some of the city’s greatest stages (House of Blues, Cubby Bear, etc). This group not only wows you with their infectious stage personalities, but they’re sure to light up your event with great music, bold colors, and…oh yea, don’t forget about selfies with Bob the Bunny! You’re sure to have an amazing time that will leave you and your party goers shouting “Hello weekend”…even if it is just a Tuesday!
The Ploughboys are one of Chicago’s favorite Irish bands. Combining traditional folk and rebel songs with high energy jigs and reels, The Ploughboys have been performing throughout the Midwest for over 10 years. What started out as a few friends playing some songs at a St. Patrick’s Day house party has grown into a traveling house party, with stops throughout the area’s favorite Irish pubs and festivals. Three of the band members have been friends since middle school, and with the help of Arthur Guinness and John Jameson, they have managed to remain friends for over 25 years. Band members include Geoff Malone (guitar, vocals), Jason Trtan (bass, vocals), Max Dunne (uilleann pipes, whistle, vocals), and Marty Walsh (bodhran, vocals). Their repertoire includes songs from artists like The Clancy Brothers, Wolfe Tones, Christy Moore, The Pogues, and Gaelic Storm. Along with an extensive Irish music catalog, The Ploughboys also perform songs from bands like The Beatles, Bo Deans, and Paul Simon. So come on down to the pub, grab a pint (or two!), and enjoy the cráic, Ploughboys-style!
Max Dunne is an Uilleann piper based on the south side of Chicago. He also is an accomplished guitar, bouzouki, and whistle player. Email for availability.

Great Whiskey Project
The Great Whiskey Project formed in 2010 when a soulful singer/songwriter and an explosive Irish fiddler teamed up with other Chicago musicians to fuse foot-stomping rythms with poignant melodies. The result is a contagious new sound that will make you want to stay for another drink.
The Great Whiskey Project loves to play great songs. They are less concerned about the genre that those songs fall into. They will play traditional Irish music, Johnny Cash, Gnarls Barkley, Elvis and The White Stripes in the same set. It all works together. They are most proud of their dozens of original songs. They are constantly writing.
We play Irish music all year – not just for St. Pat’s! We can be the background or the main event. If you’re looking for great acoustic music for your event/venue, send us a message. You’ll love us. Just ask newlyweds Kris and Jason, who raved:
“Thank you for making our wedding day a blast!”
We’re available for public and private events, and have performed (and/or are scheduled to perform at) Fiddler’s Hearth (South Bend, IN), Hidden Shamrock (Chicago), Nevin’s (Evanston, IL), Molly Malone’s (Forest Park, IL), Irish Oak (Chicago), Palmer House Hilton (Chicago), Evanston Women’s Club, Whole Foods (Lincoln Park, Chicago), Celtic Knot (Evanston), Durty Nellie’s (Palatine, IL), Tom Kelly’s (New Lenox, IL), Palmer Place (LaGrange, IL), Ms. Murphy’s Irish Bistro (Chicago), Timothy O’Toole’s (Gurnee, IL), and Babe’s Bar (Chicago).
Trinity Irish Dancers
The Trinity Academy of Irish Dance–based in Chicago, Milwaukee and Madison–is one of the best and most well-known Irish dance schools in the world. Now entering their 31st year, Trinity dancers continue to astound audiences with breathtaking performances, excel in competitions (holding an unprecedented 38 World titles) and pay tribute to their Irish heritage through their unique and amazing art form.
His music has been called the new style of any generation. “There are a lot of singer-songwriters out there; but you pay attention when he performs. There’s just something about the way he plays that makes you want to know what’s next.” Kevin Mileski has been hailed as the fresh new act bringing back the artistry of story telling by using just the right amount of new sound with the familiarity of the old. He evokes a feeling of home with finger style guitar and vocals that makes any listener a fan. He has touched the fans of all types of music from hardcore folkers to rappers and continues to do so with every performance on every stage.
Kevin is a nationally touring musician now based out of Colorado and uses every opportunity possible to play in other cities around the country from New England to L.A. He has opened for such major acts as Sam Bush, Michael Glabicki of Rusted Root, Little Feat, and Gaelic Storm.
Kevin has been featured on many independent recordings, has teamed up with numerous professional performers, and has made his niche as a background vocalist all over the country for such artists as Dayna Lane, Andrew Ripp, Heather Waters, and Randy Coleman. He was voted in as a top 50 semi-finalist in the Independent Music World Series 2004 by TAXI for his album “Which Way Did He Turn?” which has sold over 1000 copies in the last two years. The 2006 release of “Through The Window” has resulted in Kevin’s induction into the Independent Artists Registry. His music has been featured on Musicmatch.com, MP3.com, Audio Lunchbox, XM Radio, and recently on Whole Wheat Radio. It has been heard on public and commercial radio stations across the country.
Musician, Singer, Songwriter, Performer, Actor
The Chicago based folk duo of Jacquie Manning and Rich Prezioso say it has taken them years of careful indecision to develop a repertoire they describe as “Celtic to Cowboy.” Superb musicianship and showmanship, award-winning songwriting, and a strong sense of tradition has made them, as Dirty Linen Magazine once said, “one of the most polished, inventive, and entertaining shows on the circuit.”
